Supporting the communities where we live and work has always been at the heart of Tyson Foods’ values. Whether it’s donating protein to a local food bank, awarding grants to nonprofits or stepping in to feed families after disaster strikes, we’re proud to lend a helping hand and make a meaningful impact nationwide. As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking time to reflect on the moments that mattered most, the ones that helped strengthen organizations and communities.

“Each year, we’re reminded that real impact happens when compassion meets action. Our teams, our partners and our communities continue to show what’s possible when we work together, and 2025 was no exception,” said Tim Grailer, Senior Director, Community Impact at Tyson Foods. “We’re proud of what we accomplished this year and even more excited for the good we’ll create in the years ahead.”

Fighting hunger remains one of our top priorities. Food banks, community pantries and meal programs depend on consistent support, and we’re committed to helping fill that need in partnership with Feeding America. This year, we donated nearly 16 million pounds of protein to support hunger relief and disaster response. Of that, more than 11 million pounds supported Feeding America’s network of 200+ food banks, while nearly one million pounds went directly to disaster relief efforts.

When disaster strikes, our team doesn’t hesitate; they mobilize. From sudden storms to large-scale emergencies, we work alongside local partners to ensure that communities have access to the food and care they need most. Here’s a look at how our deploymentteam showed up this year:

Tyson Foods Disaster Relief Deployments

  • Hurricane Helene: 48,595 meals served
  • Hurricane Milton: 30,440 meals served
  • Los Angeles Wildfires: 38,956 meals served
  • McLean County, KY Floods: 6,904 meals served
  • San Angelo & Kerrville, TX Floods: 23,750 meals served

In total, our Meals that Matter® program was deployed five times this year, distributing nearly 150,000 meals to communities in crisis.

But our service is about more than nourishment. Between deployments, the Meals that Matter® team also showed up for the everyday moments that bring people together. We fired up the grills, served thousands of meals and helped make local traditions like elementary school field days, community picnics, festivals and more events to remember.

Our commitment to community extends beyond protein donations. Through our corporate giving program, we continue to support nonprofits doing meaningful work every single day. By working alongside groups such as GENYOUth, Military Family Advisory Network and DC Central Kitchen, among others, we can place giving dollars directly into regional and national partners that support communities all over. This year, we awarded more than 140 community giving grants, helping power initiatives in food, agriculture, nutrition, education, human services and beyond, to communities across our operational footprint.

As we wrap up 2025, we’re grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside our neighbors, partners and team members to build stronger, more resilient communities. And we’re looking forward to doing even more in the year ahead.
