For more than a decade, Tyson Foods has been honored to stand alongside Wreaths Across America to help ensure our nation’s veterans are remembered, honored and taught about, not just during the holidays, but all year long. Since first joining this meaningful mission in 2010, our team members and professional drivers have played a crucial role in helping deliver wreaths to national cemeteries across the country in advance of National Wreaths Across America Day.

Once again, this year, members of our transportation team hit the road with purpose. From Maine and onward, 24 Tyson Foods loads traveled near and far to deliver more than 150,000 wreaths across 15 states and to 56 national cemeteries. Each wreath represents remembrance, respect and gratitude for the men and women who served our country. These long-haul journeys are more than miles logged; they are miles of meaning.

The work doesn’t stop when the trucks roll in. Tyson Foods team members also proudly volunteer their time to participate in wreath-laying ceremonies nationwide, standing shoulder to shoulder with communities as they help place each wreath with care and respect. At the organization’s hometown launch in Maine, where Wreaths Across America begins its annual mission, more than 20 Tyson Foods volunteers supported the effort, part of a larger initiative that also included providing 2,200 meals to those supporting the kickoff event.

Wreaths Across America was founded on a simple but powerful mission: to remember the fallen, honor those who serve and teach the next generation the value of freedom. That mission closely aligns with Tyson Foods’ own values of service, integrity and caring for others. Through both logistics and hands-on volunteerism, our team members help ensure that thousands of families, veterans and communities feel the impact of that mission each year.

For our drivers, the journey is especially meaningful. They understand that every wreath they carry represents a life, a story and a legacy of service. For many, it is a personal point of pride to transport these tributes safely to their final destinations. For our volunteers, the experience of laying a wreath is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today.

On National Wreaths Across America Day, Tyson Foods was proud to once again support this extraordinary effort, both on the road and at the ceremony sites, as well as within our communities.
