Our customers are at the heart of absolutely everything we do, so it is essential that in these unprecedented times we seek creative ways to show them real, tangible support.

That’s why we’re encouraging folks to order takeout by joining forces with #TheGreatAmericanTakeout movement on Tuesday, April 7. Throughout the day, Tyson Foodservice will donate $5 for every social media post tagged with #TheGreatAmericanTakeout, up to $25,000, to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (RERF.US), created by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to support U.S. restaurant workers financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, and to provide aid to restaurant employees nationwide. Additionally, through May 1, Tyson Foods will match any personal donations made by Tyson team members to various industry relief efforts 3-to-1 up to $200,000.

We’re both thankful and proud to make the financial commitment to stand by our customers and participate in The Great American Takeout movement as an extension of the support we’ve already initiated, including:

  • Launching a landing page on tysonfoodservice.com as a central repository for COVID-19 information and solutions specific to the foodservice industry.
  • Offering individually wrapped and ‘perfect for delivery’ product information on our website.
  • Issuing a $500 rebate to operators purchasing our products starting in April and running through June.
  • Giving operators who are part of our Tyson Partner loyalty program relief on volume minimums, deadlines, etc. over the coming months.
